Warhammer 40,000
One of the GW games that I play most often is Warhammer 40,000; I don't currently have a full 1,000 point army but I have around 600 points of Adeptus Mechanicus, a few Space Marines I've accumulated from starting the hobby and getting combo sets, and I plan to get Necrons when I have more AdMech.
Adeptus Mechanicus
At present, I have and am able to run a Tech-Priest Enginseer, and a set of Kastelan Robots, a Cybernetica Datasmith, a Technoarcheologist, a set of Skitarii Rangers.
I intend to get another set of Kastelans as well as a Skitarii Marshal, Skitarii Vanguard, and some Sicarians to round out what I have and give me some choices on what to take into battle with me.
I also plan to get some spare bodies and legs to kitbash three Combat Servitors to allow me to use my Servitor Battleclade in Warhammer 40,000 as I chose to build the configurable servitors as Technomedic, Auto-Proxy, and Breacher which I am unable to use in 40K.
The paint scheme is use for my AdMech army is not any of the official forge world schemes and mostly came about by accident when I was gifted a character model to paint which had a cloak half-painted with Night Lords Blue on it so I ran with it with some other paints (mainly Night Lords Blue and Leadbelcher!).
Space Marines
I have four Intercessors (models, not units), three of them coming from the paint set and one being the starter model.
I do want to get some Black Templars to paint so I may buy that chapter's combat patrol but I plan to have any marines I get through attrition to be Ultramarines as I like the aesthetics of both the Templars and Ultramarines.
Necrons
I plan to get the Necron Combat Patrol to start off a Necron army at some point and plan to paint them in the normal paint scheme.
